Susan,
Starting to look for maybe a car for Ashton. She doesn't have her licenses yet but thinking about it. How about a trade for 2003 Explorer with 3rd seat??? LOL What kind of gas mileage does it get? Thanks!! Sandy Michel

Hey Sandy! If we didn't already have the other, larger car I'd consider that but now we have three and are just sitting on the Malibu! It gets great milage, about 29mi/gal? We weren't planning on selling because it has been so great but for Mother's day my mom surprised me with a larger car (her old car and she up graded) for our thankfully growing family! What are your thoughts? Wanna swing by/meet and take a peak?

OK. But, if you think of anyone who might be interested please spread the word! Jack is due July 23 so we'd love to have it sold by then. Lots of diapers to buy! :)

Hi,
Sorry if I got your hopes up by responding, I just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your new little one on the way!! My husband and I just had a daughter on Dec 19,2007. She was born with Cystic Fibrosis and has had 2 surgeries, she was in NICU at Presby Main for the first 6 weeks of her life. My husband and I moved here from Chicago in September to be with my family for her birth (not knowing she had CF) we fully intended to return home early this year, but made the decision that with her having CF and lots of medical problems that the air pollution, cold bitter winters and humid summers would be bad and aggrevating to her condition (not to mention the need for love and support from my entire family that is here in Huntersville and Concord). In Chicago with the excellent public transportation we had no need for a car, in fact it would have been more expensive to park a car then to drive it!!!!! Needless to say a car is a must out here!!! Unfortunately we have no where near what you are asking for the vehicle at this time, as I am sure the car is worth it, it looks great and sounds like it is safe and dependable. That is exactly what we will be looking for when our time comes as funds come in. If you still have the vehicle in a few months we would love to take a look at it,but for your sake I hope you do sell it sooner cause I know just how much diapers and baby food cost!!!!! It looks like a great catch so I'm sure you will have no problem with the sale quickly, but for some reason your still hanging on you can email me in like 2 months, thanks and the best of luck and have fun with the newest member of your family, babies and children are such a beautiful blessing!! Heather,
Welcome to the area!!! We have family in Chicago and we moved here about 1 1/2 years ago from Madison, WI so I can totally relate to the cold! And, we moved back to be close to family (we are from here originally) as we were also about to deliver our first child, Reagan, who after only being here for 2 days I was rushed to the hospital and she did not make it. So, we are now about to deliver the second! I can relate to some of your struggles but I knowing having CF is different. The car is still for sale and we really want it to go to someone in need of a dependable car from dependable owners. I wish we could afford giving it away but it just isn't possible right now. Do you have a price in mind that you can afford? Maybe we can work something out, pray over it and see what God can do. Hope to hear from you. Call if you'd like. 704 641 3713. Susan

Susan, thanks for the reply, I am so sorry you lost your first child, but God has blessed you with a second that will be healthy and happy, I am guessing by the name Jack you are expecting a boy? Well, as for the money situation we only have a few hundred as of now and I am trying to borrow a few more hundred from my parents. At the first of each month we do get an additional $400.00, also my husband is looking for a second job, but without a vehicle it needs to be close to home since he is depending on my mother or a cab to get him there and back. We will just be saving that extra money each month and hope to find a dependable, safe and reliable vehicle for my husband to get to work and to get our daughter to her many doctor appointments she has each month. I will pray on it. My father is a used car manager at Independence Hummer in Charlotte and unfortunately all his trades are WAY out of our league!!! But if he gets a good bonus I will most likely be able to borrow a few hundred since he wants a good car for us as well and it is getting difficult on my mother driving us where we need to go all the time!! As I said I will really pray hard about this and I will pray for us both, that you get the money you need for that little angel waiting to join your family and that we get the dependable car we are looking for to join our family!!! AS for Wisconsin, during my 1st marriage (my current husband Greg is my second husband and he truly is a wonderful husband and father! I thank God he sent him to me! We met by chance in Chicago when I was lost and asked him how far and where the Walgreens was!! Funny huh!!) we had lived in Waukesha just NW of Milwaukee for 5 years, and yeah it was even colder and snowier then Chicago!! Well, If we happen to come up with a larger amount of money before you sell your car we would definately love to come look at it. And that is very thoughtful of you to feel in your heart the desire to want to donate it to a family that needs it, thank you for that, but you have a little one that will be costing bunches, so it's a must that you take care of you and your family. I look forward to talking to you again, Blessings, Heather p.s. also my number is 704-912-3044 if I forget to call you, feel free to call me, I stay at home with my daughter and am always here unless we have a doctors appointment. Have a great day!! I have faith that God will help provide us both with the right answers and as he always does he'll provide all we need. I have learned that at least for us, and I'm sure for everyone else too that God gives and answers in his time, not ours. Sometimes my prayers are answered very quickly and others it takes longer. But I have faith.
