Hi,
my name is Heather and am new to N.C. My husband and I have lived here and have been attending LFC since last Sept. we haven't met too many people yet and have no "friends" or "couple friends" to go out with our age group or so. I am interested in meeting some women to hang out with once in awhile during the day and maybe having girls nights out without the kids once in awhile and maybe even couple or group date nights occasionally with our husbands. Sound like something anyone would be interested in doing? I am 32, husband greg is 38 and our daughter is 7 months old. I am not involved with any groups at the church or I probably would have met more then the handful of wonderful people I did meet. We helped once with the breakfast for room at the Inn over the winter and did meet some awesome kind hearted friends who are so very involved and busy with their older children,commitments and jobs. I am sooo sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been really busy and unfortunatley sophia just got out of a 3 day stay in the hospital with pneumonia and also right after that I got side effects from a new medication and swoll up aLOT with water weight and had EXTREME leg and foot pain. So, now is a better time. Hope you had a good weekend! Sophia is sooo happy to be home in her own surroundings and in her own bed!! So are we, but not as excited as she is. Well, my husband and I would love to meet up. How does your upcoming weekend look? I am so glad you are willing to come here because unfortunatley we have no car so we depend on my family and a few friends to drive us places. Maybe on Sat or Sun we can get together, all of us, husbands and kids too? I was just about to post - looking for someone in the church to hang out with- I am married with two kids- one is six and the other is 15 months- Two Girls- We are new to Lake Forest- we have been only a few times-but I am anxious to get involved!
