Central & Western N. Carolina Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation/Stirring Up Wishes

My name is Lisa Dickinson and I am a Wish Granter for the Central & Western N. Carolina chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. We grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
 
I am appealing to our church community as we face financial difficulties in this embattled economy. Our wishes cost an average of $6,000.00.  We granted over 200 wishes in the past year.  There are several opportunities where we could use your assistance. This is one of the opportunities:
 
Betty Crocker "Stirring Up Wishes” campaign is giving money to the top four Chapters that have the most votes in three categories. We are now number five in our category and we need a boost to make it into the fourth position! The best part is that this is free!  The voting goes through May 25^th and you can vote once per day.  See the following link:
