Central & Western N. Carolina chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation/Bag Ladies Luncheon

My name is Lisa Dickinson and I am a Wish Granter for the Central & Western N. Carolina chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. We grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
 
I am appealing to our church community as we face financial difficulties in this embattled economy. Our wishes cost an average of $6,000.00.  We granted over 200 wishes in the past year.  There are several opportunities where we could use your assistance. This is one of the opportunities:

On May 15^th, 2009 we are hosting the 4^th Annual Bag Ladies Luncheon at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte.  This is a champagne luncheon featuring Sheri Lynch from 107.9 the Links “Bob & Sheri” show, who will conduct a live auction over lunch.
