Mark your calendars, the official release date of Journey Bread: Five
Minute Meals for the Soul is September 9th and the Uncommon Scents and
Gifts store at the Northcross shopping center in Huntersville, NC has
agreed to host a book release celebration and signing from 5:00 - 7:00 on
Tuesday evening September 9th. It would be so awesome if you could stop by
the store on your way home from work that evening for a refreshment in
support of the Journey Bread project! Please drop me a line via email if
you plan on attending so we can plan properly for the amount of
refreshments and books to have on hand.

Fall Baseball sign-ups for youngsters 5-18 are now underway for Stewards of the Game, a faith-based youth sports organization designed to teach young people valuable, "life lessons" through sports.
To print out a registration form, or simply learn more about the vision, philosophy and excitement surrounding Stewards of the Game, visit our website at http://www.stewardsofthegame.org/.
You are also invited to register in person at Dick's Sporting Goods at Birkdale Village in Huntersville on Saturday, August 9th 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Dick's will be offering valuable discount coupons for Stewards of the Game families. Roster spots are limited. Registration Ends: August 16th.

We promise you an inspirational evening and a joyous celebration of the newly constructed Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen. The gospel sing will be held at New Friendship Presbyterian Church, 510 N. Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville (at the corner of Hwy 115 and Ramah Church Road). The soup kitchen is located next door to the church; a mini-tour will be available for those who arrive by 6:15pm.
A “love offering” will be taken to benefit Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen
Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established for the purpose of providing a nourishing lunch Monday-Friday, year-round, to those in our community who face hunger in their daily lives. There have been a couple questions on how to delete a post. Since users don't have the option to delete posts just send me an email and I'd be happy to delete it for you.
Send your email to communication@lakeforest.org, tell me the name of the post and the date that you posted it and it should be deleted within 24 hours.

My original intention was for services offered to be posts under "Sell It." However, I can see the benefits of separating material goods for sale and services for sale. As the list of posts get longer, it will be easier for users if the distinction is made between the two. So... in a few moments look for the SERVICES category.
